The visit of the delegation of the Russian Investment Agency and the National Investment Company to Singapore

The visit to Singapore of RIA/NIC delegation headed by Yury Voicehovsky was held from 28 September to 2 October 2015. During the visit the negotiations with the state investment agency, a number of investment funds and
management companies took place. The participants discussed a number of investment projects in real estate, transport and agriculture. Also, the strategies of the two funds generated by the NIC were presented to investors
– the fund for investments to Russian real estate and the fund for investments to agriculture. Yury Voicehovsky also participated in the investment forum AG Invest.

During the visit the agreements to open an office in Singapore and to register the management company for the above mentioned investment funds were reached. In addition to that, the preliminary agreements were reached
in order to establish joint management companies between NIC and several management companies in Singapore, aiming at attracting investments to Russia and CIS countries both in the priority sectors of the economy, and in
distressed assets.
