30.03.2016 The Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade checked “Vologda textile” being reanimated
“Vologda textile” may still be the flagship of the light industry of the country. As well as proposals of Vologda Timber Merchants will be considered in the long-term development plan for the industry. These and other issues were discussed at the meeting between the Head of the Region Oleg Kuvshinnikov and the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Evtukhov. According to the governor, the regional administration does all it can in order to increase investments in fixed assets. As a result, the index of industrial production in Vologda region in 2015 reached the level of 102%, which is ahead of average.

“Vologda textile” presented its products at the international “Intertkan” exhibition, which was held from 24 to 26 February 2016 in Moscow within the framework of the international forum “The Russian Week of Textile and Light Industry.”

On November 27 in Abu Dhabi a meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Emirates Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation was held under the chairmanship of Minister for Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. At the meeting the representatives of government agencies and business communities of both countries discussed the prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation.

23.11.2015 The revival of “Vologda textile” – National Investment Company and the Group TRINFICO give new life to one of the best enterprises in the industry
A consortium consisting of the National Investment Company (NIC) and the Group TRINFICO launched a project to revive the company “Vologda textile” which stopped its operations in 2013 and is currently under bankruptcy procedures. The project is coordinated and implemented with the support of the Industry and Trade Ministry of Russia and the Government of the Vologda region.

At a meeting with the delegation of «APEX Brazil» headed by the President David Barioni Yury Voicehovsky and Kirill Amelkovich discussed further steps to expand investment cooperation between the two countries.
